Have they taken that too far? :) - Local Hero - 06-03-2004

Well I was browsing around quite randomly (as is my wont on occasion) and came across this lovely example of home improvement. Stop by and have a look here: http://www.geocities.com/jperdziak/spiderweb/page1.html

I'm actually impressed at the planning and execution of the project and the finished result looks great.

Do any of you have similar examples of where your comic obsession has spilled over into your home or life?

- The Mighty Thor - 06-03-2004

This is amazing! If I hadn't just finished repainting our bathroom, I would have done something like this instead! The guy did a great job with the whole thing. It looks as though he left no detail undone.

We have little comic book touches all through our house. But the biggest one may end up being the nursery. We have talked about lining the walls with superheroes for the new babies enjoyment. Of coarse the final design will have to wait for our next ultrasound...but it should be fun once we get started.

Well i've never gona as far as painting a room, but my loung is currently decorated with expanding piles of Trades heh and the odd action figure

- Harley - 06-05-2004

That's amazing. The most I've ever done in that aspect is that on one of the planks attached to the wall (don't know how to describe it any better), I've got most of my action figures lined up with The Killing Joke, DKR, FF #500, ASM #500, Kingdom Come, Daredevil #50, XXM #1 and the latest Excalibur #1 behind them. Threw in a bit of Smurfs and Power Rangers for good measure.

- Tessa - 06-05-2004

The farthest I've gone is to put little stuff around the room...I would love to put a mural on one of my walls, but they're currently covered in framed posters (most of them LOTR related...yes, I am a nerd).

not a comic book obsession.. more a "WHAT'S THE WORLD COMING TO?!?!?!?"

From one of my livejournal friends..

"Seen, by me, in the store, on a container of Planter's salted peanuts:

Warning: This product contains nuts."

WTF?!?!? Why??? Who??? How??? :brickwall:
